Mixed Materials and Black x Gold Create a Striking Contrast

"G-SHOCK by kolor" is a collaboration between G-SHOCK, celebrating its 35th anniversary, and kolor, a brand known for its unique color palettes and innovative use of mixed materials. Based on the latest square-shaped series, the "GMW-B5000," this model expresses kolor's worldview through a combination of different materials and colors. The case and bezel are made of stainless steel, while the band uses resin, creating a contrast in textures. Gold and black are strikingly arranged throughout the watch.

The case back is engraved with "35th anniversary by kolor." The gold loop also features the kolor logo. Furthermore, the box that houses this collaboration model is designed to be as beautiful as a work of art.

In terms of functionality, it is equipped with "Connected Engine," which connects to a time server via smartphone. Combined with the standard radio wave reception function, it allows for accurate time information to be obtained anywhere in the world. Through linkage with the smartphone app "G-SHOCK Connected," operations can be confirmed within the app, and settings for world time, alarms, and more can be easily made. Pre-sales began on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at kolor Aoyama, and sales will commence on Saturday, July 21, at various Barneys New York stores and specialty watch retailers.
