Featuring a New Bidirectional Rotating Bezel with Pearled Decoration
For over 65 years, the Navitimer has stood as a definitive pilot’s watch. The newly released Navitimer 1 Automatic 38, with its 38mm diameter, marks a return to a more compact size that is capturing significant attention.
The Navitimer 1 Automatic 38 traces its roots to Breitling's 1950s three-hand reference 66. Stripped of its chronograph function and sub-dials, the watch presents a refreshingly clean aesthetic, enhanced by its 38mm case.
This model boasts a newly designed bidirectional rotating bezel with pearled decoration and the highly functional slide rule for aerial navigation, a hallmark of the Navitimer for decades. A date window is positioned at 6 o'clock, complemented by a matching date disc and a red-tipped seconds hand for enhanced legibility.
Straps are offered in black or blue alligator leather, coordinating with the dial colors. Additional variations include a stainless steel case with a silver dial, and a striking version featuring an 18K red gold bezel paired with a brown alligator strap.
