HYT is a truly fascinating wristwatch brand. The system for circulating water within a mechanical watch was first unveiled in 2012. Since then, unique models based on this concept have been presented at Baselworld in Switzerland. Time is displayed by a pump that pushes a colored special liquid, called a bellows, through the watch. Now, HYT has made its appearance at SIHH.

HYT's latest creations focus on expanding color variations, with two new models released featuring a dazzling white and blue two-tone color scheme. One model embraces a classic aesthetic, diverging from HYT's previous image, while the other offers a more modern feel. Both designs imbue the watches with an elegant aura, opening up a new world for timepieces.

Establishing Originality

The newly introduced "H2 Tradition" dramatically transforms the image of the previous "H2." Unlike its predecessors' futuristic forms, this model features an off-center sub-dial for the minutes near the 12 o'clock position, with a small seconds sub-dial nestled beside it. When the movement, including the escapement, is concealed, the watch's mechanical complexity is significantly softened.

The dial is white, with blue hands for minutes and seconds. It even evokes the feel of an antique regulator clock, displaying hours, minutes, and seconds separately. Complementing this, the outer circumference of the dial is white, with Roman numerals for the hour markers. The liquid indicating the time is also blue.

Its style is truly elegant and classically adorned. This is an excellent design that redefines the style of HYT watches.

The new "H1 Iceberg II" is a revival of the "Iceberg," limited to 50 pieces. The original "Iceberg" featured a white rubber strap, blue minute hands, and a blue liquid retrograde display. The blue used is a deep yet vibrant shade, evoking images of the sky and sea. The white strap offers a cool, ice-like sensation. While using a similar color palette to the "H2 Tradition," this model shifts the emphasis, retaining the original "H1" style for a design that exudes modern and urban sophistication.

This is a model that reconfirms the elegance and aesthetic contrast of the combination of blue and white.
