Limited Edition Model from the "Masterpiece" Series Arrives

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Maurice Lacroix produced a limited edition of 40 watches. The off-center, three-dimensional blue dial is particularly striking. The movement powering this watch is Maurice Lacroix's 13th in-house caliber, featuring a silicon escapement. To allow a clear view of the escapement's intricate workings, the dial is partially open-worked. The case is crafted from Powerlite®, a lightweight yet durable special alloy composed of five metals, developed two years ago.

In addition to this model, 250 units each of the "Masterpiece Gravity" in "Classical" and "Contemporary" styles will be released.

Love Intertwined, a Woman's Heart is Complicated

The Masterpiece "Power of Love" is a romantic model where the word "LOVE" appears once every minute, driven by three heart-shaped gears.

The movement used is Maurice Lacroix's 14th in-house caliber, the Cal.256. Furthermore, due to the difficulty in manufacturing these gears using traditional stamping or cutting methods, the company succeeded in creating these complex gears through advanced electroforming, known as LIGA (an acronym for Lithographie, Galvanformung, Abformung in German).

At the 3 o'clock position on the dial, the "POWER OF LOVE" text is accompanied by a power reserve indicator displaying the remaining energy of the watch, using 14 diamonds and one ruby. When the hand points to the red ruby, it signifies that both love and power are at their fullest.

Maurice Lacroix's New Take on Divers

Unlike conventional divers' watches, the Pontos S Diver is equipped with practical functions while maintaining a simple design. This is a practical diver's watch designed for casual settings and modern lifestyles.

It also boasts robust specifications for a diver's watch, with a water resistance of 600 meters, far exceeding the capabilities of typical divers' watches. While many divers' watches feature a rotating bezel for measuring dive times, the Pontos S Diver employs an inner bezel, contributing to its sleek design. Operation is handled by the crown at the 2 o'clock position. A helium escape valve at the 9 o'clock position ensures a streamlined and efficient aesthetic.

This model deserves recognition as a new ideal, challenging the conventional image of divers' watches.
