Faithfully Inheriting the DNA of an Aviation Watch Maker
Glycine has established its reputation as an aviation watch brand by creating ideal timepieces for pilots. Since its first exhibition in Basel in 1938, it has been one of the few brands to consistently exhibit every year. This year, new models, primarily the Airman, have been released.

White Dial Appears on the Legendary Vintage Watch
The first Airman, born 60 years ago, was created to fulfill pilots' ideal wish for a watch that could display 24-hour time and show the times at both departure and arrival points. This legendary watch was revived in 2014. Following last year's black dial model, a white dial version has been introduced this year.
The dial features a 24-hour display, and the second time zone can be set by unlocking the bezel at the 4 o'clock position and rotating it.
*Note: The model planned for release in Japan will be the 'Purist' type without a GMT hand, and the strap stitching will be black, differing from the image.

A Tribute to a Past Masterpiece
A model paying tribute to the DC-4, known as an aircraft, has been announced. The DC-4, developed by the American aircraft manufacturer Douglas in the early 1940s, served as a military aircraft and later as a widely used passenger plane. The ideal watch conditions for pilots actually flying the DC-4 were surveyed and used in its development.
By unlocking the lock at the 4 o'clock position and rotating the 24-hour bezel, the second time zone can be set. Two types of dial displays are available: one with a standard 24-hour display, and another with 12-hour and 24-hour sub-dial displays.
*Note: Dial options for the Japanese market model are yet to be determined.
