"EZM" in "EZM7.S" is an abbreviation for the German term "Einsatzzeitmesser," which literally translates to "mission timer." This model inherits technology developed by Sinn for special forces, and the "EZM7" was created as a mission timer for firefighters and rescue teams.

The most distinctive feature of this limited all-black model is the three-color segmented bezel and dial scales. Furthermore, it is packed with Sinn's signature special technologies, including high magnetic resistance of 80,000 A/m, a case with highly scratch-resistant Tegiment technology and black PVD coating, Ar-damp technology to protect the watch's interior from moisture, and the use of special oil guaranteeing accuracy between -45°C and +80°C.
