Where Timeless Beauty Meets Innovative Design

The "TRINITY FOR CHITOSE ABE of sacai" limited collection, born from a dialogue between Cartier and Chitose Abe of sacai, features six models including rings and bracelets. First unveiled at Paris Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2022-23, these pieces will be released in Japan in summer 2022.

A Limited Collection Based on the Trinity of Gold Rings

The "TRINITY FOR CHITOSE ABE of sacai" collection is the result of a collaboration between Chitose Abe, sacai's designer and founder, and the Maison's creative studio. Building upon the simple beauty and fluidity of the iconic Trinity ring, the design deconstructs and reconstructs the existing form, achieving a new, balanced aesthetic.
In June 2019, a creative dialogue began exploring the potential of Trinity between Cyrille Vigneron, President and CEO of Cartier, and Chitose Abe, sacai's designer and founder, who had shared a friendly relationship for several years. A year later, this creative exchange culminated in designs that perfectly aligned with their respective visions.

The collection comprises a total of six pieces: rings (two models), a bracelet, a necklace, and earrings (two models).
While retaining the signature combination of white, yellow, and pink gold characteristic of Trinity, the jewelry introduces new interpretations with altered ring shapes, twists, positions on the skin, and enhanced versatility. One of the earring models is exclusive to Japan, while the other can also be worn as a ring.

The limited Trinity collection, designed for versatile wear and stacking, will first launch in Japan in summer 2022, with subsequent releases planned for Paris, London, New York, and Seoul in the autumn.
Pierre Rainero, Cartier's Image, Style, and Heritage Director, commented on the collection: "When Trinity was created in 1924, it was an audacious move for a jewelry Maison like Cartier to propose such a simple, unadorned ring—without precious stones—to its clients. Yet, this piece, with its three intertwined bands, has been cherished by women and men of every generation since its inception. With the launch of this new collection, Trinity continues its journey as a truly inclusive jewelry piece."
