The "Grain de Café" Motif: Coffee Beans

Cartier has unveiled a new necklace for its popular "Grain de Café" collection.
The collection draws inspiration from two elements emblematic of the Maison's style: the coffee bean motif, rendered in yellow gold, and Cartier's unique aesthetic that elevates the everyday into something extraordinary.
For this new creation, yellow gold is shaped into a flowing mesh. Its supple structure drapes beautifully against the body, its almost sensual delicacy and lightness enhancing its luxurious appeal.
At the heart of the design are the hand-woven mesh, extending from the Maison's iconic "Palmier" chain, and the coffee bean motifs arranged like a fringe. The sparkle, born from the interplay of transparency and brilliance, is a testament to exceptional craftsmanship, an homage to haute couture. Diamonds, transformed into delicate accents, punctuate the mesh, while the clasp is discreetly concealed at the back for a refined finish.
The choice of the coffee bean as a motif reflects a deep respect for nature and life, and an affection for all that exists in the world. Cartier's jewelry transcends mere adornment, perhaps serving as a connection between people and the world.
