Cartier releases a romantic, full-fledged short film. British film director Sean Ellis portrays the confessions of love from three couples, dramatically unfolding against the backdrop of Paris's Rodin Museum, a concert hall, and an airport.

Ellis, who originally began his career as a photographer, gained attention for his stylish worldview with the release of 'Fallen Angels' (2006). He is a director of considerable talent, with his latest work, 'Metro Manila,' nominated as the UK's entry for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 2014.



The first story depicted in 'The Proposal' is a young couple's playful pursuit of love within the Rodin Museum and its sculpture-filled gardens. Following clues from images sent via mobile phone, she is led to the garden where a charming proposal awaits, overseen by 'The Thinker.'

The second story follows a couple struggling to meet at a concert venue. As she heads upstairs in an elevator, he desperately chases after her up the stairs. Despite the elevator doors repeatedly closing, his passionate approach through them fills the elevator with a celebratory mood.

And the third story is about a couple walking through the departure lobby of an airport. Amidst a lively exchange of conversation, the husband pulls a surprise by taking his wife's passport just before boarding, successfully executing a second proposal.

The common thread in these three distinct, chic proposals is the diamond ring presented in Cartier's red box. This iconic red box, exuding a magical aura, masterfully plays its part in these once-in-a-lifetime moments, guiding the three couples towards their happy endings.
