Cartier's First True Diver
Cartier, credited with the commercial success of the world's first wristwatch, has always been a brand at the forefront of watchmaking, despite being a jeweler. Surprisingly, this "Calibre de Cartier Diver Watch" marks their first foray into serious dive watches. As such, it boasts a perfection that seems to have been meticulously prepared, leaving no room for oversight.

True Sporty & Elegance
The "Calibre de Cartier," featuring its first in-house automatic movement and a masculine form, debuted in 2010. Added to this collection in 2014, the "Calibre de Cartier Diver Watch" is the first genuine diver's watch in Cartier's long history of wristwatch manufacturing, which began in 1904.
Today, diver's watches are required to comply with the international standard ISO 6425, a requirement this watch naturally meets, with its perfection evident down to the finest details. The rotating bezel, subtly sloped inward and finished with a beautiful and robust ADLC coating, operates smoothly with 120 clicks. The Cal.1904-PS mc, with its entire movement underside covered by a single bridge plate, demonstrates exceptional reliability and durability, while the mainsprings, powered by a double barrel, deliver high precision.
The dial, adorned with Roman numerals, not only offers excellent legibility but also exudes the elegance characteristic of Cartier watches. This sporty elegance is a perfectly realized masculine accessory, making it an item to acquire right now.

The History of Cartier Men's Watches
A Watchmaking History Dating Back to 1904
Cartier's history of wristwatch manufacturing began in 1904 with the square-shaped "Santos" model, created at the request of Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont (the model on the right in the photo is from 1916).
The "Santos" achieved great commercial success as a practical timepiece for men, pioneering the history of the wristwatch.
