Gucci's 2009-10 Autumn/Winter Men's Collection. A new, liberated look that reflects the pervasive nocturnal atmosphere and a departure from unchanging styles. Formal and casual items are mixed, evoking the image of a modern, luxurious man with a new personality.
The men's jewelry that appeared on the runway was also all black. The bracelets and necklaces featured black silver chains. The slimmer bracelets, in particular, had a delicate impression.
The rings, with their familiar G motif boldly cut out, are also recommended as a pair.
BRAND HISTORY
Gucci began in 1921 when founder Guccio Gucci opened a workshop and shop specializing in leather goods in Florence, Italy. His refined sensibility, aesthetic, and the skillful craftsmanship of Tuscan artisans were supported by European aristocracy and celebrities, leading the brand to grow and captivate a sophisticated clientele.
Among these, Gucci's four iconic symbols—Bamboo, Horsebit, Web, and the GG logo—are beloved by celebrities worldwide and continue to be used in various items today.
In 2006, Frida Giannini was appointed Creative Director overseeing the entire Gucci brand. Under her direction, Gucci has returned to its true roots, infusing its icons with new life and a contemporary edge.
Gucci offers products such as leather goods, shoes, apparel, silk products, watches, and jewelry, all crafted with uncompromising craftsmanship, exceptional quality, and a commitment to "Made in Italy."
