Rodolphe is a brand designed by Swiss watch designer Rodolphe Cattin. Rodolphe, also known as an "aesthete of watches," begins his watchmaking process not by developing the movement, but by designing the visible parts of the watch: the case, dial, hands, crown, and strap. Mechanical elements are conceived as tools to sculpt the design in three dimensions, with the movement being considered to match the final aesthetic elements of the watch.
Rodolphe's style is pure yet sensual curves, strong yet not outlandish, and cohesive as a whole. This architectural style has often been compared to the buildings of Le Corbusier.
Furthermore, Rodolphe has a track record of awakening dormant brands. His talent has been validated at other brands, such as the highly popular Italian brand Breil and the fashion brand Esprit. His drive to forge new paths and his superior aesthetic sense have created new trends.
