Swiss mechanical watch brand "Franck Muller" has released a new size of the "Grand Curvex Piano," whose design, perfected in simplicity and three-dimensional curves, embodies modern beauty.

Franck Muller's iconic model, the "Cintree Curvex" (Tonneau Curvex), was born in the mid-1980s when independent watchmaker Franck Muller received a request from a client to create a "design that is uniquely yours."

This tonneau-shaped wristwatch possesses a sculptural beauty born solely from curves, with no flat surfaces, as if cut from a sphere. It revives the Art Deco style of the 1920s while expressing a pioneering and distinctive form.

The "Grand Cintree Curvex" emerged as an evolution of Franck Muller's signature "Tonneau Curvex," with its completely curved, three-dimensional form. It has been refined with more contemporary arrangements to maximize its allure.

The "Grand Curvex" features a significantly revised case design from its internal structure. The bezel is separated from the case and enclosed within the glass and the inner part of the case. By combining this inner case, known as "INNER CURVEX," with different materials, a beautiful bi-color casing has been achieved.

The greatly curved case, as if a sphere were sliced, is covered with sapphire crystal down to the strap attachments, ensuring visibility across the finely curved dial. The dial is adorned only with the maison's logo in gold and three hands, exuding a simple yet modern ambiance.

The dial, devoid of numerals, embodies Franck Muller's cherished message about cherishing time that slips away unnoticed: "Live in the moment, forgetting time. A watch exists to help you live your present life brilliantly."

It is also finished with a glossy piano black enamel, inspired by the grand piano. This luxurious sheen is achieved through 20 layers of enamel applied by the maison's dial workshop.

Compared to the previously released CX33 model with dimensions of 48.4x33.0mm, this new size is smaller, fitting comfortably on the wrist and adorning it with a touch of glamour. The strap attached to the case is securely fixed with screws, integrating seamlessly with the Curvex silhouette. It is finished not only for beauty but also for exceptional comfort.

This model, born from an approach of savoring time, is filled with Franck Muller's characteristic originality, not just in its design but also in its philosophy.
