Revived after 40 years: the legendary professional diver's watch.
Omega's diver's watch, known as the "Seamaster," isChronographalongside the "Speedmaster," one of Omega's iconic products. Among them, a highly coveted piece for watch collectors is the "Seamaster Ploprof," developed over approximately four years with the full cooperation of COMEX, a French underwater research company, and Jacques-Yves Cousteau, a pioneer in ocean exploration and conservation and the inventor of scuba diving equipment. This ultimate model, first unveiled at Basel Fair in 1969, has been revived with upgraded specifications after 40 years. Its most distinctive features are the thick, one-piece case construction and the rotating bezel with a large locking button. It is truly a masterpiece, the ultimate professional diver's watch.
Automatic winding, stainless steel case and bracelet, 55 x 48mm diameter, 17.5mm thickness, equipped with an automatic helium escape valve. Priced at ¥871,500, scheduled for release in August.
