BRAND HISTORY

Gucci began in 1921 when founder Guccio Gucci opened a workshop and shop specializing in leather goods in Florence, Italy. Its sophisticated sensibility, aesthetic, and the masterful craftsmanship of Tuscan artisans were supported by European nobility and celebrities, leading to its growth as a brand that captivated discerning clientele.

Among its offerings, Gucci's four signature icons—Bamboo, Horsebit, Web, and the GG logo—are beloved by celebrities worldwide and continue to be featured in various items.

In 2006, Frida Giannini was appointed Creative Director overseeing all of Gucci. Under her direction, Gucci returned to its true roots, infusing its icons with new life and a contemporary edge.

Gucci offers products such as leather goods, shoes, apparel, silk products, watches, and jewelry, all crafted with uncompromising craftsmanship, exceptional quality, and a commitment to "Made in Italy."
