Born in 1994, the "Casablanca" collection was the first to feature a stainless steel case from Franck Muller, and it remains one of the brand's most representative and popular models today.

The model's name is inspired by the classic film "Casablanca." Drawing inspiration from the story set in French Morocco in the 1940s, the design incorporates "stainless steel" from the desert sands, "luminous dials" from unlit night roads, and a robust "calfskin strap" from the sweltering heat. The classical tonneau case is also a significant charm, with the crystal and dial itself featuring gentle curves, resulting in a highly elegant design. In addition to the black and copper dials shown in the photos, a white option is also available.

Furthermore, what makes the Casablanca unique is its positive embrace of aging, such as patina on the dial, as "aging." To achieve this, the dial and indices are intentionally treated with a special paint that is prone to discoloration. The way the dial ages varies depending on the user's environment, creating a one-of-a-kind texture as it is used. This fosters a deeper sense of attachment.
