FRANCK MULLER

LONG ISLAND

Text by OPENERS

Until then, Franck Muller was primarily known for its flowing tonneau cases, but the "Long Island," introduced in 2000, featured a simple yet dignified rectangular case.

Its glamorous design, reminiscent of the Art Deco style that flourished in the early 20th century, is quintessentially Franck Muller. The four lugs harmonize perfectly with the elongated case, while the case itself is gently curved, ensuring the utmost comfort and a perfect fit on the wrist.

The dial, adorned with delicate guilloché patterns, is set with distinctive Arabic numerals, elegantly elongated and beautifully deformed to match the rectangular case. The "Long Island 1000 SC" shown in the photo, in particular, is the most basic two-hand model in the series. Paired with spade-shaped blued steel hands, it gracefully tells the time on your wrist.

Additionally, models such as the "Long Island Master Banker" which allows operation of three time zones with a single crown, offer a rich variety of designs and functions to choose from, which can be considered an advantage of the Long Island.
