Stainless Steel Construction and COSC-Certified Movement

This year, Roger Dubuis has established a new benchmark for luxury sport watches with its "Easy Diver" collection. The dial, previously offering a classic aesthetic within a sophisticated urban style, has been transformed into a bold, impactful design. Its multi-layered, three-dimensional structure further enhances its presence and masculine appeal. The bezel, which featured a molded rubber design since 2006, now boasts an embossed pattern in the new automatic models, lending it a more robust appearance. Notably, the use of stainless steel has also made these timepieces more accessible, with prices starting below 1.5 million yen, positioning them as Roger Dubuis's entry-level offerings.

A key highlight of this model is that its newly developed movement, the "RD821," has not only received the Geneva Seal, a standard for Roger Dubuis, but has also achieved certification from the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). This marks a first for the company, demonstrating Roger Dubuis's evolving commitment to delivering highly reliable products through third-party validation, as conveyed through this Easy Diver.

Set against a silver-toned dial are baton hands and bar indices coated with vibrant orange Super-LumiNova. Similar to the applied index at 12 o'clock, these elements enhance legibility while imbuing the watch with a modern, refined aesthetic that transcends the ruggedness typically associated with sport watches. The "Easy Diver" is a sports model designed for those who appreciate a luxurious style distinct from traditional dive watches. Roger Dubuis's signature bold character remains as potent as ever.
