Iconic and Timeless... The Brand's Essence Captured in Its Logos

What does a logo truly mean to a brand? It's a mark of quality, an image of a lifestyle, and a testament to its accumulated history.

With Gucci set to celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2011, the brand, befitting its rich history, possesses several iconic logos that symbolize its identity.

From the "GUCCI" logo born at the brand's founding in 1921, to the Gucci script logo used in the 1950s, the "GG" logo based on Guccio Gucci's initials from the early 1960s, and the "Interlocking G" and "Square G" from the 1970s... logos have evolved alongside the brand through each era, becoming symbols of its identity at the time.

Thus, in this year 2010, to commemorate the final year of the brand's 80th anniversary, Gucci Fine Jewelry presents "GUCCI 8."

This collection is engraved with eight logos cultivated over time, truly symbolizing Gucci's renowned history and tradition. Furthermore, pieces like the octagonal rings, incorporating the number "8"—said to bring good fortune—exude Gucci's signature modern aesthetic.
