A High Jewelry Collection Inspired by a Parisian Journey

Overlooking Place Vendôme, within a graceful 17th-century building, lies Louis Vuitton's new salon for watches and fine jewelry. Occupying the upper floors is the high jewelry atelier, a space where Louis Vuitton's commitment to exceptional savoir-faire truly shines. Bathed in modern, beautiful light, this is a place where the old workbenches, etched with the memories of generations of artisans, are still cherished and used today, serving as a wellspring of inspiration for the craftspeople.

For the renovation of this historic building, Louis Vuitton commissioned architect Peter Marino, known for his adherence to French elegance, to design the layout and interiors. He selected materials such as light-toned rosewood panels and cigar-brown Havana leather to adorn the walls, creating a space that is both simple and warm, exuding a tranquil atmosphere that perfectly highlights the exquisite jewelry.

To celebrate intercultural dialogue, three contemporary artworks by Teresa Margolles, Fahd Moshiri, and Rashid Rana have been added to the salon, illuminating the luxurious space with the brilliance of captivating talent.

Currently on display is the high jewelry collection "L'Ame du Voyage," designed by Lorenz Bäumer. While previous "Voyage" collections drew inspiration from distant lands and diverse global cultures, this third iteration is themed around Paris, the "City of Light." The magnificent collection of fine jewelry, which artfully blends iconic Parisian landmarks such as the Arc de Triomphe and Place de l'Étoile, is truly breathtaking.

This new salon is the perfect place where precious stones, gathered from around the world, conclude their journey and are given new life by the skilled hands of artisans in the atelier, finally seeing the light of day as jewelry. It is a space where one can fully immerse themselves in the essence of Louis Vuitton.
