Wine producers from around the world introduce about 100 selected wines directly to visitors

"World Wine Fest 2018" is a grand event themed "Rediscover Wine with Your Senses," designed for everyone from wine novices to connoisseurs. At the venue, producers and winemakers from approximately 26 wineries across about 9 countries will set up 26 special booths to directly share their passion and the appeal of their products with visitors and serve wine. Additionally, seminars will offer detailed introductions to wine regions worldwide, selection methods, and drinking techniques, providing a unique opportunity in Japan to truly "enjoy wine with all five senses." Furthermore, tickets including wine and food pairings will be available, allowing attendees to freely enjoy approximately 100 types of wine at the venue for up to four hours in a "free flow" (※) format.
※ "Free flow" is used in hotels and bars to mean "free drinks" or "all-you-can-drink."

On the first day, November 10th (Saturday), the awards ceremony for the "AEON Wine Award 2018," now in its second year, will take place. The "AEON Wine Award 2018" is an award where 100 sommeliers select affordable and delicious wines that can be enjoyed casually. Award-winning wines in three categories—"Best Daily Wines" for affordable and tasty selections, "Weekend Recommended Wines" for a relaxed mood, and "Reward & Hospitality Wines" to elevate special occasions—can be tasted at the event on the same day.
Additionally, the venue will feature an "AI Sommelier" that recommends wines to visitors using artificial intelligence, and "Talking Wine Bottles."
