Art Meets Circus: "Grand Nouveau Cirque" Comes to Life

Grand Front Osaka will host "Grand Nouveau Cirque," a celebration of a new form of circus that transcends traditional boundaries, on Saturday, March 30, and Sunday, March 31, 2019. This event marks the culmination of Grand Front Osaka's five-year anniversary, themed around "Gratitude and Art."

Nouveau Cirque is a new genre of circus originating in France, blending various art forms such as theater, dance, music, contemporary art, and film with circus performances. This special outdoor event, transforming public streets into a stage, is truly a treasure trove of art.
Visitors can casually enjoy a wide array of performances in open areas, including familiar circus acts like trapeze, tightrope walking, and clown routines, alongside immersive experiences with 3D sound and soap bubble installations. Furthermore, circus experience workshops, such as tightrope walking, will be available for children to participate in! Best of all, admission is free.
