Uber Eats Joins the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "#GenkiItadakimasu Project"

Uber Eats has joined the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "#GenkiItadakimasu Project." The campaign runs until October 14, 2020.

Twice the Delivery, Twice the Vitality for Japan!

The "Buy One, Get One Free" campaign, which began on October 1st, is part of this initiative. As a component, Uber Eats will feature restaurant partners offering menus made with domestic agricultural and marine products on its app's billboard, highlighting them as "#GenkiItadakimasu Project Support Restaurants."

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "#GenkiItadakimasu Project" aims to promote sales of domestic agricultural and marine products, which have been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to reduced dining out and export stagnation.

Uber Eats has endorsed the project's purpose and participated because it believes this initiative will support both restaurants and the producers who sustain our food supply.

During the campaign period, a banner for the "#GenkiItadakimasu Project" will be displayed within the Uber Eats app. Clicking this banner will lead users to a list of restaurant partners featuring menus made with domestic agricultural and marine products.

Through increased awareness and patronage of these "#GenkiItadakimasu Project Support Restaurants," we aim to support producers of domestic agricultural and marine products. We encourage you to enjoy these menus, made with ingredients from Japan, alongside Uber Eats' "Buy One, Get One Free" campaign.
