Approximately 30 Newly Shot Works on Display

Kōnosuke Sakazaki, a member of the rock band "THE ALFEE," has a wide range of interests beyond his musical career, including collecting vintage cameras, Japanese glassware, and old postcards, as well as keeping reptiles.

Among these, he has a deep appreciation for photography and has been a Leica user for a long time.

This exhibition will feature approximately 30 works newly shot by Sakazaki in the autumn and winter of 2016 with a Leica M-P.

Sakazaki likens the charm of Leica to that of a guitar, stating:

"The joy of taking photos and the pleasure of appreciating the camera itself. There is no doubt that Leica fulfills both. It's akin to the joy of playing a guitar, getting lost in the curves of its body and its sound. No matter how many years you've had it, no matter how old you get, it never grows old. Truly, 'Leica is a Rolling Stone.'"

To coincide with the exhibition, Sakazaki will hold a talk show on Saturday, March 25th. Advance registration is required. For details on how to participate, please check the Leica Camera Japan website from Wednesday, March 1st.
