Tokyu Plaza Ginza Unveils "BLOOM DANCE" Installation to Celebrate First Anniversary
As part of its first-anniversary celebration event, "BLOOMING DAYS 1st ANNIVERSARY," Tokyu Plaza Ginza is hosting the "BLOOM DANCE" installation in the 6th-floor KIRIKO LOUNGE.
Three transparent pillars, each 3 to 6 meters tall, extend towards the ceiling within the approximately 27-meter-high atrium space.
The interiors are filled with paper pieces resembling petals. Through programmed control of fans and lighting, the animation of wind and light recreates the natural phenomenon of petals dancing in the breeze.
Their movement—dancing, scattering, and drifting through the space—is both beautiful and ephemeral, imprinting viewers with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic sensibility.
This is a limited-time exhibition running until April 7 (Friday), so don't miss it.
