Okayama Prefecture will hold the fruit fair "Okayama Fruit Time in Tokyo" in collaboration with high-end fruit specialty stores and department stores in Tokyo, aiming to introduce its high-quality fruits, which are in season, to the people of Tokyo. A total of 1,000 purchasers of Okayama-grown fruits will receive a mask made of world-renowned Okayama denim!
Savor the Fruits of Okayama!
Okayama Prefecture is known as the "Fruit Kingdom" due to its favorable climate and the cultivation techniques passed down from our predecessors, which yield high-quality fruits. Among these are "Okayama White Peaches," cultivated with individual bagging for meticulous care, resulting in a dense, melt-in-your-mouth texture, intense sweetness, and abundant juice. The prefecture also offers a rich variety of distinctive grapes, including "Pione," known for its large size, seedlessness, and sweetness; "Shine Muscat," which can be eaten with the skin on; and "Aurora Black," an original Okayama variety.
During the campaign period, participating stores in Tokyo will not only sell fresh fruits but also limited-edition sweets made with Okayama's seasonal fruits. Furthermore, a total of 1,000 customers who purchase Okayama-grown fruits at designated stores during the mask distribution period will receive an Okayama denim mask. The denim masks, crafted with the high-level techniques of Okayama Prefecture, known as the birthplace of Japanese jeans, are also noteworthy.
