John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Momoe Yamaguchi, and More

Since its debut in 2012, this exhibition has captivated over 750,000 visitors across 25 venues nationwide. It finally arrives in Yokohama in January 2017.

For this exhibition, Shinoyama himself has selected approximately 120 photographs from the vast archive of his career spanning over 50 years. These works will be displayed as large-scale prints within the museum's space.

The exhibition is divided into five sections: "GOD - Those Who Have Entered the Realm of the Divine," "STAR - Celebrities Known to All," "SPECTACLE - A Dream World Transporting Us to Another Dimension," "BODY - The Naked Form: Beauty, Eros, and Struggle," and "ACCIDENTS - Portraits of Those Affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 11, 2011."

The collection features a wide range of subjects, from iconic figures like John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and Momoe Yamaguchi, to portraits of individuals impacted by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

Also not to be missed are works with a special connection to Yokohama, including those featuring the duo Yuzu (Yujin Kitagawa and Koji Iwasawa) and the actress Mitsuko Kusabue, selected especially for this exhibition.

The synergy between Shinoyama's "Photo-Guts" and the museum's "Spatial Power" promises to be a compelling experience.
