【The Origin of SaFo】
"We want to deliver the safest and most secure products above all else." This desire is our origin.

It all began with my illness 30 years ago.
I was six years old at the time and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance due to an asthma attack caused by allergies, which led to a state of apnea...
Although I was in critical condition for a while, I was fortunate enough to survive.
This event prompted my parents to start making safe futons for people who suffered from allergies so severely they couldn't sleep at night, and for those with weak constitutions.
And now, driven by the desire to help as many people as possible live a "safe and secure" life, we have launched the new brand "SaFo."

【Brand Policy】
We live surrounded by many plastics and chemical products.
While they make our lives convenient, chemical products can sometimes cause illness. It is said that the rapidly increasing number of cases of asthma and skin conditions like atopy can be triggered or worsened by the daily use of chemical products. Even in the process of making organic cotton products, harmful chemicals may be used or mixed in.

We are committed to "authentic organic."

SaFo's fiber processing strictly prohibits the use of harmful chemicals.
We exercise the utmost care in our manufacturing process to prevent various skin conditions and illnesses caused by the use or contamination of such chemicals.
We believe that by creating and providing GOTS-certified organic products, we can protect the environment and people, and change the world towards a sustainable future.

Takumi Shimamura, Representative of Kuruink / Product Designer

He has handled a wide range of designs, from Docomo's PDA devices to cars, buses, architecture, and furniture. His "monacca" series, designed using thinned cedar from Kochi Prefecture, is sold at MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art) and has been successfully sold in the global market through active participation in design exhibitions worldwide. He has received numerous Good Design Awards. He has also received the Elle Decoration Award at the Interior Lifestyle Exhibition, the Japan Design Consultant Award at the Interior Lifestyle Exhibition, and has served as a judge for the Japan Color Trend Association (JAFCA) Auto Color Award.
