A "Survey on Snoring Conditions" conducted by France Bed in February 2025 revealed that approximately half of respondents are troubled by their own snoring, and 57.3% are bothered by the snoring of family members or partners, the highest number on record. Snoring is known not only to reduce sleep quality but also to have a serious impact on the lives of those around the snorer. To address these issues, France Bed has developed "Shirea," an anti-snoring pillow that uses a proprietary algorithm to detect snoring and reduce it by inflating internal airbags to change the head's position.

When "Shirea" detects snoring, internal airbags inflate to change the head's position, thereby reducing snoring. When sleeping on one's back, the tongue and soft tissues at the back of the throat can fall due to gravity, narrowing the airway and making snoring more likely. By turning the head to the side, the airway widens, allowing for smoother airflow and making snoring less likely. Furthermore, the operating noise is an extremely quiet 30dB or less, comparable to the sound level in a library or a whisper, ensuring it does not disturb sleep.
Additionally, the pillow's height can be adjusted in three levels using the built-in airbags, and settings can be easily configured via Bluetooth connection with the dedicated app. Not only can the pillow be adjusted to the optimal position according to body type and preference, but the app also visualizes snoring patterns and includes a recording function. Reports can be saved on a daily or weekly basis, aiding efforts to improve sleep.
