An unexpected collaboration project, "#CreatorsUnite," by Noritake Kinashi and ALL BLACKS.
To celebrate the Rugby World Cup, a collaborative art project titled "#CreatorsUnite" has been launched, bringing together global sports brand adidas, the New Zealand national rugby team ALL BLACKS, and creators active both in Japan and internationally.
Art x Sports: A Creative Fusion
The Rugby World Cup, hosted in Japan for the first time, has generated immense excitement. Japan's victory against Scotland on the 13th secured their historic advancement to the knockout stage, fueling a fervent atmosphere.
Among the teams advancing to the knockout stage, the New Zealand national rugby team, ALL BLACKS, stands out as they aim for an unprecedented third consecutive championship in this tournament.
When one hears "ALL BLACKS," many might recall their traditional pre-match dance, the "Haka." This team has continued their winning streak in the pool stages of the current Rugby World Cup, drawing significant attention.
The art project "#CreatorsUnite," featuring the dominant ALL BLACKS, widely regarded as the world's strongest team, is now capturing attention.
The project, themed "The Unexpected Fills the World," includes creators from various fields such as Noritake Kinashi, a member of the comedy duo TONNERUZU and an active contemporary artist, as well as Shishu, Kohei Nawa, calligraphers Mami and Koji Kakinuma, Takuya Kamioka, and Kosuke Kawamura. The artworks are available for viewing on the official online site starting September 14th (https://adidas.com/CreatorsUnite).
