Champagne Night at Kyoto's luxury hotel, THE THOUSAND KYOTO

THE THOUSAND KYOTO, the flagship hotel of the Keihan Group, will host "Champagne Night" every Friday and Saturday from July 10 (Fri) to September 26 (Sat), 2020. Guests can enjoy free-flowing Perrier-Jouët champagne and à la carte dishes at the Italian restaurant "SCALAE," themed around an "adults' summer festival," in the enchanting rear garden located in front of the chapel.

A magical evening surrounded by nature.

The lush rear garden, "OKUNIWA GARDEN," which changes its appearance with the seasons, will be open for a limited time. Spend a romantic moment unique to this season in the open, nature-surrounded garden.

The free-flow plan at "Champagne Night" includes an appetizer plate of lobster and caviar called "Saien" (Garden), along with Perrier-Jouët champagne, known for its delicate and elegant taste, as well as red and white wines, whiskey, and original cocktails. The champagne event, held for two days last year to great acclaim, will be extended to approximately two months this year.

This event will also feature special à la carte menu items themed around an "adults' summer festival." Chef Hishida's playful creations, with their surprising contrast between appearance and taste, can be enjoyed as if you were at a festival. Other offerings include a cold pasta dish featuring tomatoes, inspired by Spain's tomato festival. How about spending time with loved ones under the stars, enjoying fine wine and conversation?
