BURBERRY is holding a pop-up event for its iconic "DK88" bag at Hankyu Umeda Main Store.

The "DK88" is Burberry's latest iconic bag, which first appeared on the runway in February 2017.

The collection draws inspiration from the brand's signature heritage trench coat, utilizing "trench leather" – a twill-weave cotton gabardine fabric embossed with a similar texture.

The series name "DK88" itself refers to the house code for the honey-colored cotton gabardine, imbuing the bag with a sense of brand heritage through both its name and material.

The event will feature new colors released in May, a bespoke service allowing customers to customize their bags by choosing from 18 variations for five parts including the handle and flap, and a limited-edition release of exclusive colors.

This special event runs for a limited time from Wednesday, May 31st to Tuesday, June 6th, so don't miss out.
