tokyobike x MoonStar Collaborate on the "MINIMA - tokyobike Limited Edition -" Sneaker

Bicycle maker tokyobike is collaborating with MoonStar, a company that has been crafting “MADE IN KURUME” footwear with unwavering skill and experience, and a sincere dedication to shoemaking since its founding in 1873. Together, they will release the original sneakers, “MINIMA - tokyobike Limited Edition -,” in limited quantities on Saturday, July 1st.

For these shoes, we prioritized a gentle feel and a simple, beautiful design that seamlessly integrates into daily life.

The base model is MoonStar's signature “MINIMA,” created using the vulcanization process.

It features a unique split-toe design for a snug fit and a minimalist aesthetic.

Our primary focus was changing the material from the original suede to a fine-weave canvas.

While retaining the elegance of the “MINIMA,” the result is a pair of sneakers with a light, airy feel.

Available in three colors: a classic "Off White," a versatile "Sand Brown" that complements any outfit, and a refreshing "Vincent Blue" perfect for the upcoming season.

The sole features tokyobike's signature blue-grey color, and the insole is adorned with a double-name logo.

To commemorate the launch, two stores, "Tokyobike Rentals Yanaka" and "tokyobike shop Koenji," will host a special fair from Saturday, July 1st, to Sunday, July 23rd.

In addition to a comprehensive lineup of regular models, there will be a special exhibition showcasing the history and heritage of MoonStar.

Customers who purchase during the fair period at either store will receive a special bonus: an original tote bag.

The collaborative sneakers will be sold at tokyobike's directly managed stores and online store, as well as select retailers nationwide. They are also scheduled to be available internationally at tokyobike's London and Melbourne locations.
