amorph Launches Leather Goods Featuring High-Quality Tatsuno Leather and Natural Wood

Amorph, a fashion brand based in Okayama, has launched new items crafted from high-quality Tatsuno leather.

Amorph, which focuses on Japanese craftsmanship often relegated to the background, is now turning its keen attention to Tatsuno leather.

This material is produced in Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture, the birthplace of the leather industry. Tatsuno leather, which began as a traditional craft in the Kamakura period and has since evolved uniquely, is characterized by its ability to achieve precise color control and minimal aging.

The Fusion of Tatsuno Leather and Natural Wood

The latest release includes three items: a business card holder, a tote bag, and a pouch.

The business card holder and tote bag feature embossed crocodile leather, exuding a distinct presence.
The pouch, on the other hand, comes in a vibrant array of colors, making it a joy to choose from, and its convenient size makes it perfect as a makeup bag or for storing small items.

While all three items use Tatsuno leather as the main material, natural wood is incorporated into the opening and closing mechanisms.

The warm aesthetic, born from the interplay of leather and the distinct textures of wood grain, is complemented by the practicality of magnets embedded within the wood, allowing for quick and secure closure.

True to the brand's concept, these products are a testament to Japanese craftsmanship, showcasing artistry that Japan can proudly present to the world.

The products are now available for purchase on the online shop.
