Seven artists reimagine the Dior bag in the "DIOR LADY ART" project.

The "DIOR LADY ART" project, where seven artists from the UK and US reimagine the iconic "LADY DIOR" bag from Maison Dior, has launched. It will soon be unveiled at pop-up stores worldwide.

Where Dior's Savoir-Faire Meets Artists' Diverse Ideas

First introduced in 1995, the "Lady Dior" bag is adorned with the signature "Cannage" motif, inspired by the Napoleon III chairs Christian Dior used to seat guests at his first collection.

With its geometric design and metallic charms spelling out DIOR, its modern, sophisticated, and poised presence has made it a beloved icon bag for the discerning woman.

In June 2016, Dior invited Marc Quinn, a London-based artist with multiple titles including sculptor, designer, and painter, to the Maison for this project, commissioning him to design a limited collection of "Lady Dior" bags and leather accessories.

Now, the project has been taken up by six artists from the UK and US, resulting in works that embody their unique artistic visions.

The creations will be showcased at pop-up stores, beginning with the Miami boutique, followed by Los Angeles, South Korea, London, China, Dubai, and Paris.

We eagerly await its arrival in Japan for this highly curated and sophisticated initiative.
