JBL | Introducing the 3-Way Studio Monitor Speaker "4312SE" to Commemorate its 70th Anniversary

JBL, the world's largest audio brand born in California, USA, will release its 70th-anniversary special edition model, the 3-way studio monitor speaker "4312SE," in late December this year.

Achieving Clear and Expansive Sound Quality

The "4312SE" inherits the design of the "4310," which debuted in the early 1970s, and is a special edition that pursues the acoustic performance required of the latest studio monitor speakers.

The low-frequency unit is equipped with a 12-inch (300mm) woofer found in the high-end model "4429," delivering the powerful energy and high-resolution sound characteristic of a large-diameter woofer.

The mid-frequency unit, which greatly influences the depiction of instrument timbres and vocal textures, employs a 5-inch (125mm) pulp cone midrange. It suppresses distortion, offering clear, vivid, and natural vocals.

The high-frequency unit features a 1-inch (25mm) aluminum-magnesium alloy dome tweeter. By combining an aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm with a half-roll edge, it achieves smooth extension into ultra-high frequencies and high transparency.

Furthermore, the newly designed network circuit, tailored to the new woofer, is a pure 3-way network with an added low-pass filter for the woofer, enabling the high-purity, well-defined sound quality inherent to monitors.

To commemorate the release of the "4312SE," limited reservations for serial numbers are being accepted on the official JBL website (https://www.harman-ownersclub.jp/cpn/70th_4312se/). You can choose from 10 sets of serial numbers, including the pair "0001" and "0002," which represent the very first products globally.

The reservation deadline is December 11 (Sunday) at 24:00.
