Automatically controls heat based on food weight and temperature. Introducing the new "Healthy Chef" superheated steam oven range.
Hitachi's new superheated steam oven range, the "Healthy Chef" MRO-TW1, will be released on Thursday, July 20.
The biggest feature of the new Healthy Chef is Hitachi's unique "W Scan" system, which uses a "Triple Weight Sensor" to measure the weight of food (including the container) and a "Center Infrared Sensor" that swings its 8-eye sensor in 15 stages (120 divisions) to measure the surface temperature of the food (including the container).
It calculates the energy needed for heating based on the food's weight and temperature, and automatically controls the cooking.
For defrosting, it combines microwave and steam heating to reduce uneven thawing of frozen thinly sliced meat, ground meat, and sashimi, allowing them to be ready for use.
Furthermore, with microwave heating, rice, side dishes, and beverages can be warmed to the optimal temperature regardless of quantity or whether they are covered with plastic wrap.
The oven function utilizes a "Double Light Speed Heater" with a maximum temperature of 300°C in a hot air convection system, enabling delicious and abundant cooking in two tiers.
Additionally, the easy-to-view "Web Recipe Collection" accessible from smartphones has been revamped, allowing users to check recipes while shopping or cooking.
In addition to ingredients and steps, cooking videos are also easier to view.
Recipes can be searched not only by free words but also by cooking category and ingredients. Users can also find tips for warming, defrosting, and parboiling, as well as usage videos.
This is a noteworthy home appliance that makes cooking with a microwave more comfortable and delicious.
