Hoshino Resorts Aomori Oirase Gorge Hotel will host a "Early Morning Autumn Foliage Guided Tour" for a limited time from Saturday, October 12, 2019, to Tuesday, November 5, 2019. This tour offers a chance to savor breathtaking autumn colors while experiencing the tranquility and crisp air of the early morning, distinct from the daytime scenery.

Hoshino Resorts Aomori Oirase Gorge Hotel is situated within Towada-Hachimantai National Park in Aomori Prefecture. Surrounded by abundant nature, including lakes and highlands, it is known for its rare "yellow foliage" forests, a rare phenomenon globally, attracting many visitors each year.

On this tour, nature guides, intimately familiar with Oirase Gorge and its surrounding natural environment, will lead participants to the most scenic spots for autumn foliage at its peak. The itinerary includes visits to Oirase Gorge, illuminated by the golden hues of beech and Katsura trees, Lake Towada, where various shades of autumn leaves blend together, and Tsuta Marsh, where deep crimson foliage reflects in the water.

During the same period, Hoshino Resorts Aomori Oirase Gorge Hotel will also offer the "Oirase Guided Walk" (until November 27th), a walk along approximately 2.8 km from Ishigedo, a central point in the middle reaches of Oirase Gorge, to Kumoi Falls, characterized by its three tiers. Additionally, the "Oirase Morning Cafe" (until November 5th) provides an opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee while waking up to the serene sounds of the gorge in the early morning.

Furthermore, the "Forest School" (until November 26th) will feature a rotating lineup of nature guides and wildlife photographers each evening, sharing insights into the natural history and forest inhabitants.
