PARK HYATT KYOTO
A 400-year-old Japanese garden on the grounds. Park Hyatt Kyoto Opens.
Park Hyatt Kyoto has opened. It is the second Park Hyatt brand in Japan and the first in 25 years.
Prime Location Facing Ninenzaka, Within Walking Distance of Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Yasaka Shrine
Park Hyatt Kyoto, one of Hyatt's top brands, has opened on the grounds of the "Sanso Kyōto" ryotei, which has completed seismic retrofitting. It is adjacent to Kodai-ji Temple and faces Ninenzaka, leading to the World Heritage site Kiyomizu-dera Temple, offering an exceptional location. The grounds also feature a Japanese garden with over 400 years of history, marking the arrival of a luxurious hotel where one can fully savor Kyoto.
The hotel incorporates local architectural techniques and craftsmanship, deeply rooted in the region, to harmonize with the cityscape and scenery of ancient Kyoto, creating a modern and sophisticated space. The 70 guest rooms, including suites, offer signature dining at "Yasaka," all-day dining at the "KYOTO BISTRO" hall-style cafe, drinks at the "The Living Room" lounge, and the "Kohaku" bar. Additionally, the hotel features a 200 sqm ballroom, a spa, and a fitness center.
The "Sanso Kyōto," which also reopened, preserves the original historic buildings and Japanese garden. Notably, the tea house "Sōyōtei," dating back to the Edo period, is the oldest structure on the grounds. It is said to have been a meeting place for Restoration patriots such as Katsura Kogorō, Inoue Kaoru, and Kusaka Genzui during the late Edo period.
Park Hyatt Kyoto, an elegant and luxurious hotel that honors over 400 years of history and culture through its Japanese garden and historic buildings. Experience a unique stay in a timeless space.
