Wild and Luxurious Tent Resort

Amanwana: Paradise on Moyo Island, East of Bali

Moyo Island, a small island surrounded by the clear blue Flores Sea in the Nusa Tenggara Islands, lies next to next to Bali in Indonesia. To reach Amanwana, one travels from Bali by plane (or seaplane), and tent-style cottages come into view in the bay of Moyo Island. A key feature of Amanwana is that tents are used as guest rooms.

Amanwana: Meaning "Peaceful Forest"

Dense jungle and the vast ocean—Amanwana is a resort with nothing but untouched greenery and sea, unlike the three Aman properties in Bali or Amandari in Yogyakarta.

There are two types of tent-style cottages: Ocean Tents lining the beach and Jungle Tents surrounded by tamarind trees. A total of 20 units are leisurely scattered across the expansive grounds.

The tents, with waterproof outer roofs and separate canvas inner roofs, harmonize with the surrounding nature while offering a comfortable, air-conditioned interior. The spacious rooms are luxuriously appointed with king-sized beds and large daybeds.

The Comfort of Doing Nothing

Wake to the chirping of birds in the morning, fall asleep to the sounds of insects and waves at night, and even the patter of rain on the tent is pleasant. Amanwana allows you to feel at one with nature while staying in rooms without televisions or stereos.

Natural materials such as wood and stone are used extensively in the interiors of guest rooms, restaurants, and the lobby. Sand paths connect the tents, beach, dining room, and front desk, offering a sense of openness and allowing for tranquil moments.

All Activities Are for Enjoying Nature

Take a boat owned by Amanwana out to sea with drinks and lunch in a cooler. Dive in the beautiful coral reefs. Enjoy a cruise tour to Komodo Island, home to the world's largest lizard, the Komodo dragon. Explore forests inhabited by a variety of animals such as deer, macaques, and wild boar. The activities offered at Amanwana are truly dialogues with nature.

On the "Aman XXII," a restored Madurese fishing boat, you can enjoy sunset cruises in Amanwana Bay and dinner cruises under the stars.

This is a truly private resort that fulfills the adventurous spirit within adults while creating irreplaceable, high-quality leisure time. Once you experience its comfort, your concept of a resort will surely change.
