Vol. 7: The Luxury of Doing Nothing at a Tokyo Hotel for Adults in Winter
A Winter Staycation at Conrad Tokyo
Before I knew it, the new year had arrived, and it's already February! I can't afford to be complacent. This year too, I intend to embark on luxurious journeys with great enthusiasm. Greetings, Reiko here. How is everyone doing? Well, as the year turns, the cold truly sets in, and I found myself thinking, 'I don't want to do anything!' So, I decided to stay at Conrad Tokyo for their limited-time winter accommodation plan, 'Winter Suite.' An 'omori' (staycation) for winter means enjoying the hotel without stepping outside. How luxurious is that?

The Epitome of Everyday Escape!
I came to Conrad Tokyo seeking refuge from the cold, a true 'omori' experience, and this plan is truly a fantastic deal! I stayed with the 'Winter Suite ~Keep me warm…~' package. What a wonderful title, isn't it? (laughs) I certainly needed warming up.
This plan is available only until February 28th (Tuesday), and it includes a stay in a suite! You can choose from 10 types of suites, ranging from the City Suite (72㎡) to the Royal Suite (226㎡). Luckily, I had the chance to stay in a Deluxe Bay View Suite this time! The Bay View Suite, overlooking Hamarikyu Gardens and the Tokyo Bay nightscape, offers an unparalleled sense of satisfaction in experiencing Tokyo. Staying at a Tokyo hotel while being a Tokyo resident feels like the ultimate indulgence.
Since this is an 'omori' plan, the main idea is to relax in your room after check-in. Upon arrival, you can enjoy afternoon tea or cocktails at the Executive Lounge. Before you know it, the in-room spa butler will arrive. They'll help you choose from 10 types of bath aroma oils based on your condition that day for your evening bath. The best part? You get to take the remaining oil home as a souvenir!
Dinner Features Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006!
As I was leisurely relaxing in my room, it was time for dinner. Since it's an 'omori' stay, dinner is, of course, served in the room. The value of this 'omori' plan extends to dinner as well! For dinner, you can select exquisite dishes from all five restaurants and bars at Conrad Tokyo. You can enjoy delicacies from China Blue, the Chinese restaurant, or Kazahana, the Japanese restaurant, which you wouldn't typically be able to experience in a single dinner stay. The meal includes dim sum, seasonal appetizers, and delightful sweets from Twenty Eight, the bar and lounge – a truly abundant feast.
And what truly moved me was that the dinner included Dom Pérignon Vintage 2006! It even came in a limited-edition bottle designed by a German artist, which is so stylish. Furthermore, a half bottle of red and white wine, selected by the sommelier, was included. And to top it all off, the dessert was a special strawberry-decorated cake! While I got a bit carried away with the 'girls' night out' vibe, imagine how romantic it would be for a couple to stay here!
Indulge in the Hotel to Your Heart's Content
The wonderful dinner and conversation flowed, and the night deepened. Breakfast can also be enjoyed via room service or at All-Day Dining Cerise. Although I didn't use them this time due to the 'girls' night out' atmosphere, the fitness gym (open 24 hours) and pool at Mizuki Spa & Fitness are also available. The Executive Lounge access allows you to fully enjoy the entire hotel with this luxurious plan. Next time, I hope to experience this 'everyday escape' with a special someone.
