It features natural hot spring baths fed by Mt. Fuji's subterranean water and a sauna. To commemorate the opening, a special accommodation rate campaign (excluding specific dates) is being offered until Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Enjoy Natural Hot Springs Rich in Vanadium from Mt. Fuji's Subterranean Water
The hotel "Rembrandt Style Gotemba Komakado" has opened in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Its location offers superb access to the rich natural environment of the Hakone and Fuji Five Lakes areas, as well as leisure activities in the eastern Shizuoka region such as golf, Fuji Speedway, Fuji Safari Park, and shopping malls, not to mention World Heritage site Mt. Fuji.
The brand concept, "Rembrandt Style," aims to express the hotel's unique style rooted in the local culture and environment, responding to the diversifying needs of guests. "Rembrandt Style Gotemba Komakado" adopts the concept of "A Place to Rely On in Town" (Machino Yoridokoro), with spaces throughout the hotel designed to allow guests to experience the blessings of Mt. Fuji's abundant nature, along with Japan's traditional culture and local history.
At the hotel's first-floor lobby, Shizuoka tea, known for its superior quality and quantity in Japan, is served. The carefully selected tea leaves, cultivated using Mt. Fuji's subterranean water by the 18th-generation owner of Katsumata Seicha, a local company with over 400 years of tea-making history and one of Japan's rare organic-certified tea farms (accounting for just 1% of the total), are characterized by their vibrant deep green color and clean aftertaste. Guests can savor the exquisite blend crafted by the artisan's skill.
The first-floor restaurant, "Fujisan no Itadakimasu" (I humbly receive from Mt. Fuji), features an interior design that blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern design, creating a natural ambiance. Lunch service is also planned, offering a variety of reasonably priced menus, such as the "Rembran Pork Fuji Mori Teishoku" (Rembrandt Pork Fuji Platter Set Meal), using ingredients raised with the blessings of Mt. Fuji's nature.
The natural vanadium hot spring, "Fuji no Kokoro Yu" (Mt. Fuji's Heart Spring), uses subterranean water drawn from 100 meters below ground, rich in vanadium, which is noted for its health and beauty benefits. Both men's and women's baths feature open-air baths. The men's bath also includes a lava stone sauna and a cold plunge pool. The lava stone sauna warms the body from the core with far-infrared rays, promoting metabolism and offering significant detoxifying effects. Day-use access is also available to non-guests.
Gotemba City is easily accessible from the city center and offers a variety of attractions, including not only leisure facilities like outlet malls and golf courses, but also the opportunity to forget the hustle and bustle of urban life and stroll through the natural landscapes spread across the beautiful slopes of Mt. Fuji in every season.
