'Mid-Century MODERN' is an interior shop in Daikanyama that offers a wide range of items, primarily vintage pieces from the Mid-Century period (roughly 1940s-1970s), alongside works by contemporary artists and original shop items.


'Eames: The Architect and the Painter' is a documentary film that delves into the private lives of Charles and Ray Eames, pioneers of 'Mid-Century Modern,' a new design movement born from American modernism during the Mid-Century period. The film explores the lesser-known aspects of the Eameses through their personal correspondence, photographs, extensive body of work, interviews with former 'Eames Office' staff and family members, and archival footage, all made public for the first time since their passing.




The 'BLOCK MUG BIG' collaboration mug features two designs printed on HASAMI's large block mugs: ASTERISK, an iconic symbol of Eames design, and DOT, designed by Ray Eames in 1947. The parchment-colored print design, inspired by the colors of vintage Eames shell chairs, adds a special touch.


The 'BLOCK MUG SET,' sold as a set of two, features a unique design with the Eameses' first names, 'Charles' and 'Ray,' printed on them. The warm font and colors from House Industries are used, complementing the brown HASAMI mugs.
