A Three-Day Festival to Enjoy Art: ART FAIR TOKYO 2014
Known as Japan's largest art fair, ART FAIR TOKYO 2014, now in its ninth year, will be held at the Tokyo International Forum from March 7 (Fri) to 9 (Sun). Over 140 galleries from Japan and abroad will participate, exhibiting and selling works that transcend eras and genres, from antiques and crafts to Japanese paintings, Western-style paintings, and modern art. Various special projects will also be presented during the event, offering a broad overview of all kinds of art. Following last year, OPENERS is dedicating a special feature to this event, introducing its highlights over three installments.

ART FAIR TOKYO 2014, a celebration of art where you can view and purchase artworks, is finally here. We present this year's event overview alongside scenes from last year's fair. Additionally, OPENERS is offering a 1-DAY passport to ART FAIR TOKYO to 15 pairs (30 people). *Applications are now closed. Thank you for your many entries.

Introducing the Highlights of the Special Exhibition Sections
In addition to gallery exhibits, various special exhibitions will be presented. These include "Tokyo Limited," which showcases crafts and jewelry within an art context; "Discover Asia," featuring contemporary Asian art; and "OUTLINES," selected by galleries and working groups. We will convey the appeal of these three special sections.

What is the Core of This Year's Art Fair?
In the third installment of our special feature, we introduce the highlights of the core sections and partner booths at the art fair. You can enjoy a variety of genres that transcend time, from Japanese antiques and modern art to the contemporary art you see today. Furthermore, partner booths from art-related companies are also showcasing substantial offerings.
