Exclusive Menu Items for Japan Debut
ICE MONSTER, the shaved ice shop from Taiwan, is known for its "flavor ice blocks" that perfectly replicate the taste of fruits, coffee, and tea. When shaved, this flavored ice creates a fine, layered, silk-like texture that melts delicately in the mouth.
The menu features the classic "Mango Shaved Ice," as well as popular Taiwanese items like "Tapioca Milk Tea Shaved Ice" served with warm tapioca, and "Coffee Shaved Ice" topped with ice cream and jelly, offering a novel shaved ice experience unlike any other. ICE MONSTER OMOTESANDO will also introduce exclusive Japanese items such as "Fruit Soft Serve" and various drinks.
Established in Taipei in 1997, ICE MONSTER opened its second store in Taipei in 2014 and has since expanded to Beijing, China. The shop has garnered global attention, being recognized in CNN's "Best Dessert 10" and named among the top 10 "World's Best Desserts" by the U.S. travel magazine "TRAVEL+LEISURE." In Taiwan, queues can exceed 2,500 people on busy days, with a significant number of international tourists among them.
Shaved ice is showing signs of a boom, with events like "Shaved Ice Collection," featuring popular shops from across the country, held in Tokyo's Odaiba this April. The perception of shaved ice as a "summer-only" treat is fading as more shops offer it year-round. Why not experience this innovative shaved ice, drawing global attention, at ICE MONSTER OMOTESANDO?
