Henri Charpentier's Flagship Store Opens in Ginza

Henri Charpentier, the patisserie brand holding the Guinness World Record for the most financiers sold, has opened its flagship store in Ginza on April 10th (Friday). The opening marks the birth of an adult "house of sweets" featuring three distinct areas, including "Bar Maison," where alcoholic beverages are served until 11 PM, offering original sweets.

Theme: "A Wonderland Detached from the Everyday"

Founded in Ashiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, in 1969, Henri Charpentier is a patisserie brand. Now in its 46th year, the company is revitalizing itself with the opening of its flagship store, "Ginza Maison Henri Charpentier" (hereinafter referred to as "Ginza Henri"), themed as "a wonderland detached from the everyday," allowing visitors to fully experience the brand's world.

Ginza Henri, housed in a building with a stately facade completed in 1930, features three areas where guests can enjoy original desserts. Among them, "Bar Maison" is unusually open until 11 PM for the Ginza area. Here, sophisticated desserts made with generous amounts of liqueur can be savored alongside champagne, wine, and whiskey.

One of the desserts offered here is the visually stunning "Cocktail Savarin" (¥1800), made with homemade brioche, garnished with fruit, and flambéed with liqueur. Guests can choose and mix their preferred liqueur from five options, including Berry Martini, Mango Margarita, and Apple Mojito.

In addition to Bar Maison, the store offers "Salon de Thé," where chefs prepare authentic desserts right before the guests' eyes; a private "Special Room" for occasions like anniversaries; and a retail space, "Boutique."

At the Boutique, customers can purchase original products such as "Ginza Honey Pie," made with 100% rare honey collected from bees inhabiting the Ginza area, and financiers, which hold the record for the world's best-selling pastry (certified by Guinness in 2014 for selling 23 million units in one year).
