Just Like a Sheep! A Touchably Fluffy Design
Mouton Cadet is the direct-brand wine of Château Mouton Rothschild, a First Growth classified estate in the Médoc. It was founded in 1930 by Baron Philippe de Rothschild.
In 1930, a poor grape harvest meant that Château wine could not be bottled. This wine was born from those grapes. Baron Philippe, being the youngest son (cadet) of his family, and to signify its status as a wine directly from Mouton, it was named 'Mouton Cadet'.
Since then, with its reliable quality backed by history and meticulous care, and its elegant yet easy-drinking fresh and fruity taste, it has grown to become a leading Bordeaux wine. Today, it is handled in over 150 countries and is widely loved.
This year's special bottle cover uses a fluffy material reminiscent of a sheep. The symbol mark is placed on the front, and it's easy to open and close with a back zipper. The cover is not sold separately; it is available with the bottle at Enoteca shops nationwide and Enoteca Online.
Dressed up cutely, Mouton Cadet is perfect for home parties or as a gift. It seems likely to add a joyful touch to various occasions.
