GRAND HYATT TOKYO has announced its cakes and stollen for Christmas 2020. Reservations for the cakes began on Monday, November 2nd.

GRAND HYATT TOKYO's pastry team, recipients of awards at international confectionery competitions, presents its Christmas cakes and sweets. With a year marked by distressing news of the novel coronavirus and natural disasters, the hotel aims to brighten the holiday season with ten colorful and happy cakes under the theme "Draw Your Happiness."

The first to catch the eye is a two-tiered cake bearing this year's theme, "Draw Your Happiness." It features the popular chocolate cake "Marquise" from Fiorentina Pastry Boutique, layered with strawberry and pistachio mousse, and adorned with charming ornaments crafted from spun sugar.

"Regalo de Natale," meaning "Christmas gift" in Italian, is a two-tiered petite cake box. The top tier features a vibrantly colorful mosaic cake, while the bottom tier holds nine types of petit fours. Both tiers are designed for easy sharing without the need for cutting.

Also featured are new creations such as the "Crystal Grand Premium Fruit Shortcake," adorned with five types of fruit and a spun sugar dome; the "Crystal Grand Premium Ricotta Tart" with abundant strawberries and assorted fruits; and the "Grande H de Luxe," a luxurious adult flavor using the hotel's original chocolate and infused with rum. Popular classic cakes like the "Grand Premium Strawberry Shortcake" are also part of the lineup.

Christmas breads, available from Sunday, November 1st, include three types of stollen and "Panettone," a traditional bread from the Milan region of Italy. All are special breads made with luxurious amounts of dried fruits, available only during this season.

Also available from Tuesday, December 1st, are Christmas cookies, Christmas baskets perfect as gifts for children, and four types of "Christmas Hampers" filled with sweets and stollen. These would also make delightful holiday gifts for those you wish to thank.

Reservations for Christmas cakes begin on Monday, November 2nd. Sales will close once the limited quantity is reached.
