Grand Hyatt Tokyo has unveiled its Christmas cakes and stollen for 2021. Reservations are being accepted from Monday, November 1st.

This year, a 35cm-tall "Gingerbread House" makes its debut!
Grand Hyatt Tokyo's Christmas cakes are crafted by a pastry team with accolades from international confectionery competitions. This year, in line with the theme "Home for the Holidays," nine varieties are available, including five new cakes designed to add sparkle to your "Christmas at home" with loved ones.
Among the new offerings is the "Grand Hexenhaus," a striking gingerbread house approximately 35cm tall, paired with a classic strawberry shortcake, a staple at Grand Hyatt Tokyo.※The gingerbread house "Hexenhaus" can be picked up from Wednesday, December 1st, while the shortcake is available from Wednesday, December 22nd to Saturday, December 25th. The "Hexenhaus" is sure to enhance the Christmas countdown.

La Pace Limited to 50 units | ¥10,000
The "La Pace," a new addition designed for enjoyment across all generations, from young children to seniors, is also available. This assortment of cakes and sweets, meaning "peace" and "tranquility" in Italian, features a bottom layer of baumkuchen coated in white chocolate, which can be decorated with chocolate pens and edible ornaments. The top layer includes the classic shortcake, alongside a bittersweet tiramisu, fruity mango pudding, and amandine.

For those who wish to "enjoy a variety of flavors in small portions," the new "Assorted Cake Box" is recommended, featuring a total of 17 different tastes. The top layer presents 8 types of cakes arranged like a colorful mosaic, while the bottom layer holds 9 bite-sized cakes and sweets, including strawberry shortcake, chocolate cake, and Buche de Noël. This treasure box-like creation will further enhance your table's festive appeal.

Other new offerings include the "Fruit Tart," generously topped with colorful fruits and adorned with a chocolate dome decoration; the "Monte Bianco," featuring a generous swirl of house-made domestic chestnut paste; and the "Grand Premium Strawberry Shortcake" and "Grand Premium Chanti Chocolat," elevated versions made with luxurious ingredients.

Additionally, from November 15th to December 25th, stollen, a Christmas essential, and "Panettone," a traditional Christmas bread from the Milan region of Italy, will be available. The stollen features a blend of adzuki beans, chestnuts, and dried fruits, with a new "Matcha Stollen" offering a Japanese twist.

From December 1st, the "Grand Premium Chocolate Stollen" will also be available. This stollen is coated with the hotel's original chocolate, "Grande H," and decorated with orange peel. It's made with a dough generously incorporating dried fruits, walnuts, and almonds, all soaked in rum for over three months.
