Limited Edition Hennessy V.S. to be Released in Limited Quantities from September 1st (Mon.)
Hennessy V.S., the signature line from Hennessy, has maintained its presence as the world's most beloved cognac since its founding in 1765. Now, the fourth installment of the "Hennessy V.S Limited Edition Bottle," featuring contemporary master artists, is a collaboration with Shepard Fairey. It will be released in limited quantities starting September 1st (Mon.).

A Dynamic Finish in Black, Gold, Red, and Beige
The design for this edition was created by street artist Shepard Fairey, also known for his work on the election poster for current U.S. President Barack Obama.
For this design, Fairey personally visited the cognac house, experiencing everything from the distillation and production process to the tasting. He gained a deep understanding of Hennessy's history, its uncompromising manufacturing process, and its dedication to eaux-de-vie (raw spirit).
As Fairey states, "I found common ground between the quality, consistency, tradition, and elegance that Hennessy has preserved throughout its long history, and my own way of working as an artist." The spirit of Hennessy, which respects tradition while embracing innovation, became the root of his inspiration for this design.
The star-shaped mark at the center of the bottle expresses Fairey's spirit of inquiry. The four colors used on the label combine Hennessy's brand colors since its founding with those favored by Fairey, resulting in a dynamic finish of black, gold, red, and beige.
